Overtis partners with Softek for distribution in UK and Ireland - Integrated endpoint and physical security technology selected for enterprise IT security portfolio

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM – 15th March 2010. Enterprise information protection (EIP) technology vendor, Overtis, has announced that it has partnered with Softek, a leading distributor of enterprise IT security, storage and email archiving products, to distribute VigilancePro™ 5.0 in the UK and Ireland.
VigilancePro 5.0 applies an holistic approach to enterprise security, by centrally managing and auditing end-user interaction with data on the endpoint and integrating this with physical security such as access control, biometrics, RFID and CCTV. Resellers have now gained Overtis products in the following areas of Softek’s IT security portfolio:

Terminal Services support enables enterprises to create secure zones, where access to data can be centrally managed and tightly controlled. By integrating endpoint security with physical security VigilancePro helps enterprises to protect against insider threats and compiles irrefutable evidence in the event that data is removed by an employee.
